The newly opened restaurant “Café Naya at the Palace” is a perfect place to wind down after partying hard at the Club, you may have a laid back vibes at Naya and just enjoy the tides.
Café Naya offers a coastal cuisine with the taste of Mediterranean, Northern African and European island cooking. The aim is to transport you to a rainforest and summer beach scenery that separates you from the bustling city of Manila. The Ambiance gives you a tropical vibe and the view of the Poll Club from the floor to ceiling windows add to the summer feel.
The brain and heart behind Naya is a twenty something Chef Mikko, who is known for his unapologetic style, constantly improving and innovating, whipping up bold dishes with a modern edge for his loyal customers; And Erwan Eusaff who brings his experiences and expresses them through the coastal cuisine in Naya, Japanese Chef Yonemoto adds a more Asian flair and flavour to the concept.
For the appetizing starter they served us Carabao’s Milk Burata (Php 455) thai basil, ripe mango, cherry tomatoes & pickled shallot. The Carabao’s Milk on the center taste unusual yet so good!
Uni and Ricotta (Php 295) Brioche, honey soy and fried kale, it’s a combination of crunch and melt in your mouth experience, a well-balanced taste.
Charred Octopus (Php 389) is a mix of chorizo vinaigrette, herbs, chili and ciabatta, it was served fresh and the salty taste is just right.
For the Pizza and Flatbread they gave us Grilled Chicken Flatbread (Php297) is a mix of romesco, pickle garlic and tomato, its out of the typical because it was dish up on a flatbread plated very unique and scrumptious.
Their plates for sharing inlcude Grilled Skirt Steak (Php 1,598) served with chorizo pilaf, roasted vegetable salad and habanero chimichuri. Looks so Enticing and the strong flavors carried out.
And for the Main dish they offer Salmon (Php 576) on bulghur wheat for a healthy treat. Cafe Naya take advantages on fresh ingredients, such as spices, citrus and herbs, and using straightforward cooking methods.
Everything in our table is Delightful in eyes and in mouth!
For heavenly deserts they have Chocolate Mousse (Php 267) that was also prepared uniquely the sweetness flawlessly contrasted by the calamansi curd, I really admire the concept on how they balance everything , Chocnut Pot De Creme (Php 197) with whipped cream and pinipig.
Cafe Naya has a palatable menu from all day Breakfast, Main, Sides, Sandwiches and Wraps, Pizza and Flatbeards, Pasta and Desserts to late night specials starting 10:30pm onwards perfect for an after-party meal.
